In China, we manufacture cocoa powder by blending and processing cocoa cakes, which from cocoa origin country such as Ghana and Ivory Coast.

Cocoa was first developed as a crop in many ancient South American cultures, with the Aztecs and Mayans being the most well-known of these indigenous populations. Researchers have found evidence of cocoa-based food dating back several thousand years.
There are three types of cocoa beans: Forastero, Criollo and Trinitario. Forastero plants most frequently in West Africa, whereas Criollo occurs most frequently in Latin America. Trinitario is mixed type between the Criollo and the Forastero and occurs in the Caribbean, among other regions.
